So I was talking to my friend Sarah over at I love being frugal this morning about which store has the blinkies and the best place to buy it. Well we both said QFC because it is only $1.39 wyb 10. The only problem is you have to buy 10. We were both unsure if 2 catalinas would print if you bought 10. Well guess what it worked! Yeah!
So here is what I got in one transaction:
10 Bags of Kraft Shredded Cheese $1.39 (until 8/20!)
use 5 $1/2 blinkies
use $5.00 Catalina from previous transaction
Total OOP: $3.90, and receive 2 $5.00 Catalina
Final Price: $1.10 Profit
My guess is this will work at ALL the stores, but you can never be too sure when it comes to the catalina machines. If you confirm at Fred Meyer or Safeway please let us know!
FYI- This price is good through 8/20 so if they are out of stock see when the get a new shipment.

Where did you find the $1/2 Kraft cheese blinkies? My local QFC does not have any.
I found them today at the Lynnwood QFC. I think it is 176th and Hwy 99.
They are at the QFC on 99 in lynnwood. I have also seen them Fred Meyer at the 164th street store
I found them at the bothell Freds at Thrasher's Corner.
Just got back from Mount Lake Terrace QFC there too :)

I did this deal at a QFC on the first day and did not get 2 $5 cat's when I purchased 10 bags in one transaction...just FYI, it might be store specific! I sure wish it had printed, would have been a money maker!
@Anony- I would call the catalina company. It looks like it started printing two 2 days ago. not sure why that is
I found them at the 185th & Aurora Fred Meyer works perfect. The best part is the catalina rolls. I've gotten 16 bags for $2 after the catalina.
I worked this deal at the Lake City Fred Meyer yesterday (Friday). The blinkies are right there by the cheese. The adorable twenty-ish checker was floored by how little I paid. "Sweet dea!" is what he said. Very fun, and now now my freezer is packed with cheese. Thanks, Amber!
I have only found the coupons in the blinkies at the Highlands in Renton store so far. I have gotten my catalina's and have bought 30 bags of cheese for 15.70 plus still have $10 in catalina's. This is almost fun to see how much you can save.
Thanks for this deal! Just to confirm, can you roll the 2 $5 catalinas to do the purchase again and get 2 more catalinas?

I was at the Mill Creek QFC tonight @ 10:00pm, and their cheese selection was pretty low. I was able to do the deal 3 times, but after I was done, there wasn't much left. The checker said they'd be re-stocking it either tomorrow or Thursday.

Is the price really good through 8/20. I went to my store on 8/3 and the sale signs were all down and everything was priced at $1.89. Last week they were $1.39 and marked with sale signs. The buy 5 get $5 cat is still posted. Is this what runs through 8/20?
@jove The price is $1.89 they were having a mega sale that week which brought the price down an additional $0.50 each back. So right now you can buy 10 (i suggest this because you can use 5 $1/2 coupons) and pay $0.39 a pack after catalina :)
